Original WWI German M42 Helmet based on an original found in the Ardennes.  The shell has been repainted and aged.  This helmet was originally issued to the Luftwaffe as a single decal ET66 Lot No 1569 painted in Luftwaffe blue-grey.  The helmet has been overpainted in grey green with brown patches.  The 2nd pattern Luftwaffe decal is visible through the paint.  The liner is a replacement on an original band and has been aged as well.  The interior and exterior of the helmet.  The pins and washers are original. G243.

Reproduction WWII German M38 Paratrooper Helmet.  Helmet has been painted in a tan and dark green tortoise shell pattern which was popular in tropical regions.  This helmet has the early war spanner bolts.  The helmet, chinstraps and harness have been heavily aged inside and out.  The shell is stamped ET 71 and liner is stamped size 59 but is actually a 60cm.  The weight and thickness of the shell is similar to an original. GFJ247.

Reproduction WWII German Paratrooper Helmet based on an original example found in El Alamein.    Painted in a grey green basecoat inside and out with a 2nd pattern Luftwaffe eagle decal.  The helmet was then overpainted with traces of the decal bleeding through in dark ordnance tan with traces of a light sand texture still remaining in some spots.  This helmet has one of the original spanner bolts replaced with a late war slotted bolt as it would have been in the field.  The helmet, chinstraps and harness have been heavily aged inside and out.  The shell is stamped ET 71 and liner is stamped size 59 but is actually a 60cm.  The weight and thickness of the shell is similar to an original.  A very nice collectible with a salty combat look. GFJ241.
